About Feng Shui

Elaine Hosiassohn is a feng shui consultant and teacher based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Elaine founded her company Feng Shui Dynamics in 1995. She is a Master of Feng Shui and her consulting encompasses several traditional methods which include Flying Star School [Xuan Kong], East/West School; Form School, Compass School; Yin/Yang Theory and Five Elements which all form part of the Traditional or Classical school of Feng Shui.

Feng Shui is rapidly becoming a standard inclusion when designing commercial and domestic properties. Feng Shui is all about the flow of energy. With the use of Feng Shui, designing harmonious and productive conditions can be achieved in your home and place of business thereby improving wealth and abundance, increased productivity and much improved relationships, allowing positive spaces for businesses and homes to flourish.

The beauty of Feng Shui is that there are many practical ways to correct problem areas. Many of the remedies can be amazingly simple and yet powerful. They can include changes to the décor, design, landscape or furniture placement.

Elaine has worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from small businesses to large corporate companies. She also does residential consultations from houses to cluster homes, townhouses and apartments. She has helped a vast amount of people achieve much success and happiness in their workplace as well as their private spaces.

The words Feng Shui are derived from two Chinese Characters. Feng means “wind” and shui means “water”. The ultimate goal of Feng Shui is to create a space that is balanced and harmonious.
